Options Resourcing are partnered with an education provider in Portsmouth, currently looking for an Assistant Principal to join them on a 4 month fixed-term contract basis covering Vocational, A level and Apprenticeships across Business, Travel, IT, Digital and Computing.
About Your Role
Reporting to a Vice Principal for Curriculum & Quality, you will be responsible for the strategic direction and overall leadership of Business, Travel, IT, Digital and Computing to implement effective delivery of strategic objectives. You will be expected to lead and manage a team of Curriculum Managers, ensuring effective leadership to deliver high quality provision across your Faculty area, taking responsibility for leading a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement for all.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage Curriculum Managers to deliver high-quality education.
Develop and implement new courses and pathways.
Oversee quality improvement processes and performance metrics.
Ensure exceptional student support and pastoral care.
Manage budgets and resources effectively.
About You
Undergraduate degree in a relevant subject.
Proven leadership in education with a track record of improving key performance indicators.
Strong skills in budget management, data interpretation, and effective communication.
Enthusiastic, committed, and flexible.
Passionate about teaching, learning, and student experience.
Solution-focused with strong problem-solving skills.
Professional in approach and appearance.
Commitment to the welfare of learners.
Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check required.
For this role, you must have a current Enhanced DBS, and already be eligible to work in the UK without restriction.
