Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Permanent
South Wales / Bristol – South West
£23000 – £40000 per annum (Dependent on Experience) + Benefits including car allowance + Fuel Card

Options Resourcing are working with a successful and busy regional contractor who are looking to recruit an Assistant level or intermediate level QS to join their team mainly being site based with occasional travel to their head office in Cardiff. Although the business undertake the majority of their work in South Wales the candidate coming in must be ok with travelling to the South West.

Current pipeline of work for the business is strong with multiple projects underway in both the South West & South Wales.

The Role

A list of typical duties within the role are detailed below:

*Assist in management of subcontractor accounts, ensuring any issues are resolved deferring to Senior QS & Commercial Director where appropriate
*Provide accurate costings and preparing budgets
*Assisting in preparing tenders
*Assist with budget control throughout project development

The Person

*Previous experience working within Civil Engineering (2 years minimum)
*Degree Qualified or studying (on day release)
*Some knowledge of NEC type contracts preferable
