Monday – Friday (Days) 8:00am – 5:00pm

A well-established maintenance provider who have an excellent reputation of contract and staff retention are looking to add some additional talent to one of their most integral parts of the business working on a flagship contract based in Crawley. If you are a Contract Supervisor with multiskilled competencies from a maintenance background and have a burning desire to take your career to the next level, then this will be the role for you.

*Ensure engineers are working productively completing reactive jobs on site.
*Providing Technical Support where needed.
*Organise and plan engineers on site to ensure they are working proactively.
*Driving the productivity of the engineers on site to ensure they are reducing their open jobs to an acceptable standard.
*Having a knowledge of the open job on site and completing high profile jobs within an acceptable time.
*Completing regular meetings with the engineers, to include toolbox talks, risk assessments and general communication.
*Call in subcontractors where needed to complete reactive jobs.
*Review and approve all rams for reactive works, ensuring working safely.
*Audit direct labour and subcontractor works to ensure quality of work and safety of working practice.
*Raising and follow through of permits for high-risk activities including hot works, excavation etc.
*Assisting the Contract manager in completed extra works projects
*Manage & Audit site records, Logbooks and E-log books
*Take ownership of safe systems of work and ensure all visitors are inducted and correct permits etc issued
*Being part of a call out facility outside of working hours.
*Be available out of hours on occasion to deal with escalations on site
*Attend meetings when required to assist in workload
*Send out regular updates to multiple stakeholders on site updating on status of jobs
*Liaising with helpdesk to give updates on jobs
*Travel around site during the day attending jobs and updating multiple stakeholders and carry out BRR’s
*Dealing with multiple jobs at a time in a professional manor whilst providing good communication
*Able to work on the move and multitask.
*Plan in Rota with team to ensure all PPM and Breakdowns are completed in the month
*To identify, reduce and manage all risks (technical, statutory, health and safety, commercial or otherwise) associated with reactive operations.
*Assist contract support and Contract Support in administering the reactive and Extra works.
*Working with the team to ensure appropriate control/monitoring systems PPM, CM & Re-active works are used/shared to ensure statutory, policy and contractual commitments are met.
