Responsibilities:

1. Contract Management: Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from reviewing initial proposals to contract closeout, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

2. Contract Negotiation: Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and partners, to negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing, while safeguarding the company’s interests.

3. Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks in contracts and develop risk mitigation strategies, providing solutions to minimize exposure to contractual disputes.

4. Contract Compliance: Ensure all contracts are executed in adherence to established guidelines and standards, tracking milestones and deliverables to ensure timely completion of projects.

5. Subcontractor Coordination: Manage relationships with subcontractors, overseeing their performance and adherence to contract terms and conditions.

6. Change Orders and Amendments: Handle change orders and contract amendments efficiently, documenting changes and obtaining proper approvals.

7. Dispute Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for dispute resolution, collaborating with legal and project teams to resolve contractual issues professionally and promptly.

8. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation, providing regular reports on contract status, potential risks, and project progress to senior management.

9. Quality Assurance: Ensure that contracts are compliant with industry standards and quality requirements, meeting client expectations and project objectives.

10. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices, enhancing the efficiency of contract management processes.

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the construction industry or a similar field.

– Comprehensive understanding of contract law, legal principles, and construction contracts.

– Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.

– Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office Suite.

– Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

– Strong organizational and time management skills.
