We’re seeking a dynamic Senior Design Manager to join our client’s team and orchestrate the design process from concept to construction. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the entire drawing design process.
Support and advise clients on building design requirements and obligations.
Ensure compliance with current legislation, standards, and codes of practice.
Maintain top-notch design quality and meet project deadlines.
Manage costs and minimize risks while prioritizing safety.
Coordinate in-house and external design resources.
Develop design programs and monitor progress.
Ensure design aligns with contract, technical submissions, and commercial goals.
Manage the document control process.
Collaborate closely with client design teams, subcontractors, consultants, and employers’ representatives for seamless design coordination.
Skills and Qualifications:
Leadership: Expertise in managing and directing design professionals.
Communication: Articulate your ideas effectively with various stakeholders.
Creativity: Infuse aesthetics into every aspect of building design.
Organization: Keep paperwork, contracts, and meetings well-organized.
Analytical: Understand complex designs and explain them to internal and external parties.
Technical: Proficiency in CAD technology for building information modelling.
