They are currently seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Bristol.
About the role:
As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing electrical projects from inception to completion. You will ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your role will involve coordinating with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to achieve project goals and exceed client expectations.
Specifically, this could include:
Lead and manage electrical projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulations.
Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these benchmarks.
Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
Oversee the procurement of materials and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
Manage and supervise project teams, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor work progress, quality, and safety compliance.
Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and clients.
Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve any issues that may arise.
Foster strong relationships with clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
About you:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) as an Electrical Project Manager in the construction or engineering industry.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, building codes, and industry standards.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
