Position: FM Electrician – Commercial Sector

Location: Kent, London & surrounding areas

Salary: £47,000 – £52,000 (depending on experience)

Start Date: Immediate

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run electrical contractor that partners with leading FM companies across a variety of commercial sites. Known for their high standards of workmanship and strong client relationships, they are now looking to expand their team with a skilled and motivated Electrician.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join a growing business that values quality, reliability, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and remedial works across commercial properties
Perform testing and inspection duties in line with current regulations and company standards
Complete documentation including EIC, EICR, and Minor Works Certificates using company software
Operate workforce management systems via mobile device
Maintain high standards of timekeeping, communication, and customer service
Work flexibly, including occasional out-of-hours, weekend, and away-from-home assignments
Demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to completing scheduled works safely and efficiently

Required Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial electrical work
Minimum 3 years’ experience in testing and inspection
City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installations
Gold ECS Card
Full UK driving licence (maximum 3 points)
Ability to obtain an Enhanced DBS Check

Skills & Attributes

Strong knowledge of electrical testing, fault finding, and certification
Comfortable using computers and mobile-based work management systems
Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude
Excellent communication and organisational skills
High attention to detail and commitment to safety
