Job Description
This is a brilliant opportunity to deliver multi-million-pound civil engineering projects within a well-respected regional contractors established commercial team. As Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, you will be a key team member with access to highly experienced commercial staff, reporting to either Project or Managing Quantity Surveyor depending on Project size
They enjoy a healthy pipeline of work secured from repeat business and continued presence on regional frameworks. These projects range from Â£500,000 to Â£10m + across highways, drainage, earthworks, and bulk excavation.
About the Job
They need someone that has NEC contract experience to work on projects including earthworks, highways, drainage, and reinforced concrete. Work will be based in the office and on site along the M5 from South Gloucestershire to the South Midlands with an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
Managing all costs relating to your projects
Supporting other colleagues in the commercial relating to supply chain and tenders.
Preparing bills of quantities for each project
Regular reviews of work and costs to reflect the requirements of the project
Cost reconciliation reports and statements
Agreeing costs and scope of work with sub-contractors
Required Qualifications / Experience
CSCS
First Aid
NEC Contract Experience
Valid Driving License and Own Transport
Bsc or Msc in Commercial management/Quantity Surveying or similar Commercial qualification.
