Job Summary
Options Resourcing Ltd are currently working with a shop fitting company and we’re actively recruiting for four experienced Joiners in Dumfries, Scotland.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble wooden structures according to specifications and drawings
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks
- Perform masonry work as required, ensuring all elements are plumb and level
- Carry out heavy lifting and movement of materials safely on-site
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance before installation or delivery
Qualifications
- Valid CSCS Card (Essential)
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and machinery used in Joinery work
- Strong understanding of construction principles, including masonry techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Physical fitness to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods
- A valid driver’s Licence is advantageous but not mandatory
