Options are working with a well establish M&E Contractor, looking for a Project Director to join their experienced team in Portsmouth on a permanent basis. This role will suit an experienced M&E PM with an extensive background in building services. Healthcare project experience would be beneficial.

Your new role:
You will lead a project team delivering a significant M&E flagship construction project in the Portsmouth area. This will involve fulfilling operational and financial objectives, while delivering a collaborative approach in order to meet the client’s high expectations. This can be divided into operational leadership, people leadership and project delivery.
About you:
– Extensive M&E / Building Services background, with an electrical bias
– Varied project experience, but experience on healthcare projects will be beneficial
– Excellent communication skills at every level and with various stakeholders involved in delivering a multi-million pound project
– The ability to demonstrate a competence in working strategically across the project lifecycle
– The ability to bring multiple teams together to work collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for the project
– Can demonstrate the ability to developing strong relationships within their team in order to optimise performance and build long lasting working relationships
– The ability to work towards KPI’s and OKR’s and report directly to the senior leadership team regarding project performance
– The flexibility to adapt skills and experiences that have been developed in other industries in order to deliver a successful project
– The ability to utilise the technical skills of multiple experts and support functions at your disposal in order to facilitate the successful completion of the project
