Options Resourcing are a Recruitment Partner of a successful Building Engineering Services company based in South-West Hampshire, and are currently looking for an MEP BIM Coordinator or Manager with experience in Mechanical Building Services to join the established team.

You will be working closely with a down to earth and strategic manager, who requires a hardworking and straight-talking candidate to join this dynamic team.

Requirements:

You will be an experienced Revit/BIM Technician, with a background in M&E Building Services or HVAC:

Expertise in Revit MEP is essential, but experience of CAD and other 3D design packages would be beneficial.
Experience designing and coordinating Revit models for HVAC systems across a variety of projects.
Ability to ensure coordination of MEP services to suit the given project.

About the role:

You will manage the CAD/Revit department carry out the CAD coordination of M&E building engineering services (HVAC) to latest standards and systems. Specifically, this will include:

Manage the M&E drawing production, receipt of professional team drawings and issue of produced drawings.
Consult and liaise with main contractors / consultants during the draughting process.
Ensuring information / drawings are issued to agreed Standards and timeframe.
Ensuring the co-ordination of Mechanical, Electrical & building services to suit building structure.
To work closely with Design team to ensure designs are drawn in 2D and 3D CAD / REVIT fully co-ordinated with the Mechanical Design and other building trades and services using current MEP / Revit software.
To undertake value engineering opportunities where possible, and appropriate, to improve upon project financial status.
To develop design skills and knowledge including CAD/REVIT software packages.

For this role, you must already be eligible to work in the UK without restriction. There is flexibility for this role to be work on a hybrid basis following completion of probation.
