Mobile Electrician – South East

Salary: £41,000 – £44,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Electrician to work across a South East public sector contract. This is a mobile role mainly covering the Staines area, with additional sites in the surrounding South East region. There is no requirement to work in London. A company van will be provided.

Role Overview

As a Mobile Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a portfolio of sites. You will ensure all works are completed safely, compliantly, and to a high standard, supporting the smooth operation of essential facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works
Fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of electrical systems
Testing and inspection of electrical installations
Ensure all works comply with current regulations and health & safety standards
Complete accurate documentation and reports
Liaise professionally with site staff and management

Working Hours & Package

Salary: £41,000 – £44,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, 08:00 – 17:00 (1-hour break)
Vehicle: Fully equipped company van provided
Location: Mobile role mainly covering Staines and the surrounding South East (no London travel)

Essential Requirements

Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Experience in electrical maintenance within commercial or public sector buildings
Full UK driving licence
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a mobile environment
