Proposals Coordinator

England, Bristol

Permanent, £25,000 + £30,000 + package

Our client is a leading UK Main contractor with offices throughout the UK. Operating across New build and Fitout construction sectors, the company has experience in delivering landmark Construction projects for a variety of blue-chip clients.

The role:

Working as a part of the work winning team to create, edit and design the finalised proposal document. Coordinating proposal input from a variety of stakeholders, providing advice on flow, language and grammar to content owners. Often, working on multiple bids at the same time and, therefore, multi-tasking and workload management is a crucial skill required for this role. Due to the nature of the role, the ideal candidate will have strong Adobe InDesign skills; will be proactive, positive and confident communicating at all levels.

Key responsibilities:
* Ensure all prepared proposal and pre-qualification submissions are of high quality, compliant and communicate our capabilities and value of service
* Identify response deliverables, establish submission schedules and communicate responsibilities and accountability to the rest of the bid team
*Coordinate proposal kick-off and review meetings, identify and track action items and maintain communication with team members regarding deadlines and requirements
*Assist in the proposal production process by liaising with contributors from all departments
*Proofread and edit responses to ensure they follow company standards for accuracy and quality of writing
*Assist in developing and implementing win strategies, answer planning sessions, key messages and differentiators in proposal submissions
*Document management and distribution of client documents to the bid team
*Liaising and coordinating with Group Proposals team to ensure a consistent and coordinated approach / best practice
*Ability to turn written, numerical and existing content into compelling graphical representations that have impact and are easy to interpret
*Coordinate input from various stakeholders – liaise with bid lead, estimator, planner and delivery team to capture and build-in key information
*Occasional travel to other offices, primarily London
*Prepare Powerpoint presentations for tender interviews

The Successful candidate will have:

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, often on multiple simultaneous projects

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

High attention to detail and appreciation for producing polished finished products

Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Proficient with Adobe Create Suite (InDesign, Illustrator) VITAL

Able to remain resilient, calm and measured, particularly during busy periods and when dealing with conflicting priorities
