Our client is a reputable name in fitout and refurbishment construction for leisure, retail, and commercial sectors. They are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing business. As an independently owned company, they pride themselves on a low staff turnover and offer excellent long-term capacity.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to join a highly skilled, qualified, and experienced team with firm principles, clear values, and a commitment to ethical and sustainable business practice. We are looking for a determined Quantity Surveyor who is strong enough to challenge any client or subcontractor when managing costs, as this is a vital part of the role.
The ideal candidate will already have vast construction experience, preferably in internal fitout/refurbishment projects, and will be looking for the next leap in their career progression.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
– Understanding client drawings
– Managing costs
– Attending sites
To be successful in this role, you will need:
– Ability to work flexible hours (this job is not always the usual 9-5)
– Strong knowledge of Word & Excel
– Proven experience in a similar role
