Options Resourcing is joining forces with a highly reputable cladding and roofing company based in Buckinghamshire currently seeking a dynamic Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team in Haddenham. As a Quantity Surveyor.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial success of their projects in the Residential, and Commercial sectors. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining their commitment to excellence in construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Take charge of a range of New Build and Refurbishment projects, with the number of concurrent projects varying based on their size and complexity.
Financial Oversight: Maintain financial control over projects from inception to completion. This includes conducting monthly job costing reviews and finalizing account agreements.
Risk Analysis: Carefully review all subcontract documents both Pre and Post-Tender, providing comprehensive risk analysis reports to minimize associated risks.
Contractual Communication: Issue contractual letters and emails as necessary to support project requirements.
Commercial Support: Offer guidance and support to Project Managers in all commercial activities, ensuring smooth project execution.
Valuations: Prepare timely monthly valuations by conducting site measurements and work-in-progress reviews.
Stakeholder Relations: Cultivate, manage, and sustain relationships with clients, contractors, fellow construction professionals, suppliers, and on-site staff.
Variations and Orders: Price and facilitate agreement of variations while maintaining an up-to-date Variations Order (VO) register. Submit Bona-fide and Sub-contractors Orders/PO’s and oversee the approval of their invoices for payment.
Financial Awareness: Collaborate with project team members individually to ensure their continuous awareness of financial constraints and contractual obligations.
Cash Flow Reporting: Provide project cash flow reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
Requirements
Driving License:
Communication: Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
IT Proficiency: Demonstrate excellent IT skills, especially in Excel, to manage financial aspects efficiently.
Team Player: Be a valuable team player with a strong ambition to contribute to their growth and your own career development within the company.

Pricing of different Cladding & Roofing Systems
1 year Surveying experience
Working with projects worth over £1m
