Options Resourcing are working with one of the South West’s growing contractors to find a Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis. Starting in their South Bristol office and covering sites in a two hour travel radius.

Ideally the successful Quantity Surveyor will have recent experience with roofing and a previous portfolio of general construction. Along with that, the flexibility to travel to projects over England when needed.

As Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for:
Working with the JCT or NEC.
Pricing projects.
Adjusting projects based on incoming variations.
Handling subcontractor payments.
Reporting on and forecasting projects.
A day will typically include managing the commercial and financial aspects of our client’s contracts while also being responsible for the commercial team to ensure effective cost control as well as value for money from the supply and sub-contract chain for a timely delivery of the project.

Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control processes, and procurement strategies.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proven, demonstrable ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in relevant software tools.
Full drivers license.
