An established and reputable construction contractor based in Leicester is seeking a highly motivated Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join their growing team.

Location : Leicester

Salary up to £55,000

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the commercial and financial management of projects from tender through to completion, including:

Preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender submissions
Managing budgets, cost control, and contract administration
Liaising with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
Monitoring and authorising subcontractor payments
Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
Supporting business development and company growth initiatives

The Candidate

We’re looking for a commercially astute and detail-oriented professional who is ready to take the next step in their career. The ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator within the construction industry
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability
A driven and ambitious mindset with leadership potential
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
The motivation and capability to progress into a senior management or Director-level position
