Are you a highly motivated Quantity Surveyor with a proven track record of commercial and residential experience across the construction industry, seeking a new challenge and excellent opportunities in a Senior position?
Our client, a leading contractor in both commercial and residential construction, are looking to bring in a driven and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join on one of their upcoming projects.
On offer is the opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to take the reins on a new project, consisting of a commercial build for an over-65 retirement complex, valued at £7million.
The ideal candidate will already have a solid understanding of the construction processes and materials, with proven experience in commercial, high-end residential and care home projects, working in a similar role, independently, and as part of a team.
The role:
– Preparing and managing budgets, cost plans and cash flow projections
– Conducting cost analysis and developing detailed cost estimates for project elements
– Liaising with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project deliverables are met within budget and on schedule
The person:
– BA (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or relevant field/Time-served
– Already experienced in a Senior Quantity Surveying role within the construction industry
– High level of attention to detail and accuracy
