Health and Safety Manager – Permanent
Bristol
£45000 – £50000 per annum dependant on experience

Options Resourcing are working with a well-established and very busy specialist construction subcontractor local to the Bristol area. The company has seen a big push on implementing Health and Safety systems and procedures over the last couple of years and are looking to bring on an experienced Health and Safety Manager on a permanent basis.

The Role

As a SHEQ Manager you will:

*Raise the profile of Health, Safety and Environment on site
*Review the organisations, Safety, Health, Environment and Quality procedures and suggesting improvements where possible
*Provide leadership and expertise to all site based and operational teams on all HSEQ matters
*Ensure all staff have taken appropriate inductions in line with the Principal Contractor and on site requirements
*Conduct Audits and site inspections
*Record data and report against agreed KPI’s
*Develop and ensure effective implementation of the business H & S improvement plan
*Develop existing systems and maintain accreditations

The Person

*Previous Experience in the Construction Industry
*Excellent Communication Skills
*Able to identify and implement new and better ways of working
*Strong attention to detail
*IOSH / NEBOSH
