Job Title: Shift Engineer (Nights Only)
Location: Chiswick, London
Salary: £61,000 per annum
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on M&E systems during night shift operations

• Diagnose and resolve faults across HVAC, electrical distribution, pumps, boilers, and control systems

• Monitor plant and equipment performance and ensure safe operation

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and shift logs

• Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and statutory regulations

• Liaise with daytime engineering teams to ensure smooth handovers

• Support continuous improvement of building performance and operational efficiency

Requirements

• Recognised Mechanical or Electrical qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds)

• Previous experience in commercial building services or facilities engineering

• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, BMS controls, and general plant room equipment

Shift Pattern

• Nights Only – fixed night shift rota (details provided at interview)
