Our client is a main contractor that uses a combination of traditional building skills and modern construction management techniques to successfully deliver challenging and award-winning projects. They are seeking an up-and-coming Site Manager to join their dynamic team.
On offer is the opportunity for a Site Manager to play a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of special construction projects ranging in value up to £1.5million. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards with an excellent capacity for growth and progression available in this role.
Responsibilities:
– Coordinate and manage all on-site activities, including subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
– Monitor project progress, identify, and resolve any issues or delays
– Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project specifications are met
– Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress reports, and site records
– Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and controlling costs
– Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
– Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project plans
– Provide leadership and guidance to site personnel, promoting a positive and productive work environment
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry
– Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
– Excellent leadership and communication skills
– Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
– Proficient in project management software and tools
– Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
– Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
– SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid
