Bristol’s Brutalism blow

City planners have given the all clear for three of Bristol’s best known examples of the architectural style to be flattened.

Controversial plans for the redevelopment of Castle Park will see the Brutalist Bank of England House, Bank House and Norwich Union buildings demolished and replaced with 30,000sq m of office space.
