Options Resourcing are teaming up with one of London’s most reputable façade contractors whom have been a prestigious name in shaping the London skyline for nearly half a century, we’re seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, gaining invaluable hands-on experience and training that will set you on the path to becoming a fully-fledged QS in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the QS with day-to-day procurement activities, including liaising with suppliers and analysing tenders.

Provide recommendations based on tender analysis and project requirements.

Collaborate closely with the warehouse and site teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment as required.

Gain a thorough understanding of contractual requirements for each project and administer them accordingly.

Support the QS in preparing project reports and documentation.

Maintain communication with clients and main contractors throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

A passion for the construction industry and a desire to pursue a career as a Quantity Surveyor.

Ideally, some prior experience or exposure to the construction industry would be beneficial.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

A proactive approach to learning and professional development.
